Nest Academy, located near Wills Park in Alpharetta, is a K-8 learning pod designed to provide a personalized and holistic educational experience. Our mission is to inspire a lifelong love of learning through individualized learning plans, hands-on projects, and engaging activities that make education both fun and meaningful. With small class sizes and a focus on each child’s unique needs, we create a nurturing environment where children can thrive, learn at their own pace, and reach their full potential.

We are a home school hybrid program in which you choose from a 2,3 or 4 day option. On the days spent at home, we offer curriculum and a lesson plans which can be used effectively with parent instruction.

Our Philosphy

At Nest Academy we recognize that each child is unique, learning in their own way and at their own pace. We aim to help the children on an exciting and rewarding journey as they discover their passions and learn to navigate the world around them.

So much learning can be done outside the classroom and this is why we value getting out and about as much as we can on outings and field trips that deepen our understanding of what we are learning about in our projects, as well as giving us the opportunity to get to know the area around us.

At Nest Academy, we embrace the outdoors, no matter the weather! Whether it’s an hour of recess at Wills Park or a sunny picnic lunch, we make the most of every opportunity to learn outside. On beautiful days, we take our workbooks, reading books, and critical thinking puzzles to the park, laying out blankets beneath a shady tree for a relaxed and inspiring learning environment.

At Nest Academy, the role of the family is essential. Parents are a vital part of the learning process, providing support for their children's interests, encouraging discovery, and facilitating meaningful discussions that deepen understanding and reinforce learning.

Giving back is an integral part of our mission at Nest. We believe that as citizens of the world we should take a role in helping others. Through charitable projects and getting out into the community we are able to stay connected to the world around us.

Our commitment to safety and environmental responsibility is paramount at Nest. We strive to foster a non-toxic, eco-friendly learning environment, deeply connected to the world around us. Our sustainability efforts include using eco-friendly cleaning products and promoting recycling.
